Disaster Food Services Inc. didn’t start as just another idea, it came from a lifetime spent in the middle of disaster zones, witnessing what people go through when everything they know is suddenly turned upside down. After more than 40 years in the disaster repair industry, I had seen homes destroyed, communities shaken, and families left trying to figure out their next step. But one thing always stood out to me, before anything else, people needed care in its simplest form. A hot meal. Something steady in the middle of chaos. That realization stayed with me, and over time, it turned into a purpose. Today, Disaster Food Services Inc. exists to provide fresh, hot meals to families in storm-damaged areas and to the first responders who work around the clock to help them rebuild.

This isn’t just about food, it’s about showing up when it matters most. Every meal we serve carries a sense of comfort, a reminder that someone cares, even in the toughest moments. We operate in disaster relief areas, supporting communities affected by hurricanes, floods, and severe storms, making sure no one is left without something warm to eat. Our work aligns with the same spirit seen in organizations like Operation BBQ Relief, the Red Cross, and the Cajun Navy, people coming together with one goal: to help.
